Wednesday, 8 September 1948ROBERTSON — New London — Last rites for Mrs. Charles Robertson, who died in her sleep at her home in New London Tuesday morning, will be held Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. Rev. Paul McDadd will conduct services in the Methodist church, and burial will be in Burge cemetery.
The daughter of Arlington H. and Anna Elizabeth Holland, she was born at New London on Oct. 28, 1875, and was married to Charles Robertson on Dec. 24, 1896. She was a life resident of this vicinity, and was affiliated with the Methodist church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 children, Lucille Robertson, Chicago; Leland Robertson, Oakville, and Cleo Robertson, at home.
Two sisters and 3 brothers, Mrs. Clara Wright of New London, Mrs. Ethel Snyder of Mt. Pleasant, Alva Holland of Mt. Pleasant, Carl and Willis Holland, both of New London. There are 2 grandchildren.
The body will remain at the McDonald funeral home until time for services.
