Alyce Brown

Rhoda Alyce Brown, 84, of New London, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1989, at the Henry County Health Center, Mount Pleasant.

Born July 19, 1905, in West Liberty, KY., she was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Elliott Perry. She married Harold O. Brown Oct. 15, 1928. He died Jan. 9, 1985.

She was a 1926 graduate of Fairfield High School.

Surviving are one brother, Marvin Perry, Independence, Mo.; and three sisters, Mrs. Floye Hull, Fairfield, Mrs. Maxine Johnson, New London, Mrs. Phyllis Swink, Mount Pleasant.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and Friday until the time of service at Elliott Chapel, New London.

The service for Mrs. Brown will be at 1:30 Friday at the Elliott Chapel, New London, with Wilbur Brown and Earl Humphrey officiating. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the New London Rescue Squad.
