Nora E. Bishop

Nora E. Bishop, 96, died about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 1976 at the New London Care Center.

The daughter of William O. and Eliza Manning Scarff, she was born December 18, 1879 in Henry County, Iowa.

A lifelong resident of Henry County and Mount Pleasant, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was married to Frank Bishop, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, January 17, at the Crane-Ewart-Young Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in Burge Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home as they desire.
