THE PASSING OF NELSON J. DAVIS
WELL KNOWN RESIDENT PASSED AWAY AT HIS HOME TUESDAY EVENING.
WAS EIGHTY YEARS OF AGE.
Born in Wooster, O., in 1834 - Had Resided in Washington And Henry Counties For Fifty Years - Funeral Tomorrow At 2:30.

Tuesday evening at 10 o'clock at his home on N. Main St., Mr. Nelson J. Davis, who has been an invalid for many years, passed away. The deceased was born in Wooster, O., on June 12, 1834, and was thus past eighty years of age. He has resided in this city for 27 years and for upwards of fifty years resided in Washington and Henry counties. To mourn his loss he leaves a widow and two daughters, Mrs. Adam Weir and Miss May Davis, and three grandchildren, Helen and Davis Weir and Ruth Evans. Mr. Davis, although of late years confined to the house, was a very active man when he enjoyed good health and has many friends and acquaintances in the counties of Henry and Washington who will sympathize with the family in the hour of their trial. The funeral will be held from the home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
