Wayland - Blanche Louise Clark, 85, of Wayland died unexpectedly August 15, 1993 at the Henry County Health Center, Mt. Pleasant. Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at the Wayland Mennonite Church with the Rev. Steve Good officiating. Burial will be in Green Mound Cemetery. Visitation will begin after noon on Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home, Wayland. The family will be resent from 7-8:30 P.M. Tuesday. Memorials may be donated to the Green Mound Cemetery, Wayland Mennonite Church, or Wayland Rescue Unit.Blanche Clark was born June 6, 1908 in Marcelline, Missouri to Arthur and Elsie (McPheron) Messer. She married Allen L. Clark on October 24, 1915 in Marcelline, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1989. She worked as a homemaker and she attended the Wayland Mennonite Church. She was a Member of the Bain-Hulme #401 Legion Auxillary.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth and Melvin of Wayland; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Guy of Mt. Pleasant, Ernie and Pearl, Wayland, and Harold, Olds; and one sister, Jenny Lynn of Brighton. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
