Helen Marie White, 75, formerly of Crawfordsville, died Thursday, July 16, 1992, in Greeley, Colo.

She was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Henry County near Wayland, the daughter of William and Rebecca Jones Stoner. On June 13, 1936, in Washington, she married Carlton A. White, who died June 14, 1977.

She was a graduate of Olds High School. She lived most of her life in Crawfordsville, moving to Greeley in April 1991. She was a cook at Crawfordsville Elementary School until retiring.

She was a member of United Church of Crawfordsville and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son, Ronald White, Crawfordsville; one daughter, Mrs. Randy (Rebecca) Davis, Greeley, Colo; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, one son, two brothers, and a sister.

Funeral services were Monday, July 20, at 1:30 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, Washington. Interment was in Crawfordsville Cemetery.
