Frank Oscar Nordquist passed away Wednesday morning, April 30, 1975, at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

The son of Gust and Mathilda (Burman) Nordquist, he was born June 23, 1901 at Swedesburg, Iowa.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church and was at the time of his death a member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Des Moines.

After graduation from Olds High School, he attended 4-C College in Des Moines and with the exception of a short time in the service in World War II he had made Des Moines his home.

He was employed in the office of John Morrell for 25 years and later had worked as a desk clerk in hotels.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge both of Des Moines.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Shannon (Ruth) Lantz of Winfield; one brother, Carl of Swedesburg; three nieces and one nephew.

he was preceded in death by a brother and sister in infancy.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 2 at the Swedesburg Lutheran Church, Swedesburg, Iowa with Pastor Delmar Carstens officiating. Mrs. Robert W. Johnson was organist and Mr. Vincent Lindeen was soloist.

Casket bearers were Donald Kracaw, Allen Nordquist, Richard Kracaw, Everette Sommer, Larry Kaufman and Donald Sommer.

Interment was in Swedesburg Cemetery, Swedesburg, Iowa. Barton Mc-Kasson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
