Gladys Marie Ross, 87, of Winfield, died Saturday, Oct 23, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. Ross was born Nov. 14, 1911, near Winfield, the daughter of Pearl and Ovoca Beauchamp Watson. She married Ray Ross on Feb 21, 1934. He died Aug 8, 1971.
Survivors include one son, Jerry of Carthage, IL.; two daughters, Betty Canby of rural Mt. Pleasant and Judy schieffelbein of Lilburn, GA.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson; and one brother, Verl Watson.
