OLD SETTLER PASSES AWAY.

Mrs. Jane Helmick Perrine of Winfield Dies at Age of 83 Years.

Winfield, Ia., Jan. 24. -- [Special.] Mrs. Jane Helmick Perrine died at her home in the northwest part of town Sunday evening after a week's illness, at the age of eighty-three years.

She had been a resident of this community since an early day and for several years lived in town. Her brother, John Helmick, lived with her. She has three or four sons and a daughter that live in the west, and several step-children. The funeral will be held Tuesday conducted by Rev. Cadwell, and interment will be made in the Spring Run cemetery by the side of her husband.
