Word has been received here of the death of Mr. D. D. Robinson formerly of this city, but for many years living at Youngstown, Ohio. He was about 70 years of age. His death occurred Wednesday and was sudden. The remains of Mr. Robinson will be brought back to his old home here for interment. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jessie Palmer Robinson, and one daughter, Miss Ruth, and a son, LeRoy. Mr. Robinson was the son of Dr. D. W. Robinson, who, for many years, was a druggist in this city and who for a time owned the Henry County Press, later becoming the Free Press. For many years Mr. Robinson operated a drug store in Burlington, until 1900 and then moved to Youngstown, Ohio, where he remained in the drug business until his death. The widow, Mrs. Jessie Palmer Robinson is the daughter of Judge L. G. Palmer, formerly of the local bar. She is a sister of the Hon. Leroy Palmer now in the federal service at Washington, D. C., and of Mr. Charles F. Palmer, deceased, who was the husband of Mrs. Eliza Wallbank Palmer of this city. She is also the sister of Mr. La Mont Palmer of this city. Mr. Robinson left two brothers, Messrs. E. H. and Charles Robinson, who live in Burlington. Miss Ruth, a most charming woman, for some years was employed as a clerk in the office of this paper.
