Robert M. Brown, 94, a retired farmer, died Monday morning at his home at 210 South Jackson.
Mr. Brown was born January 2, 1858, the son of Samuel and Jincy Ray Brown in Shelby County, Indiana. He came to Henry County in 1870 and became engaged in farming northwest of Mt. Pleasant.
He retired about 30 years ago and moved to Mt. Pleasant. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Ruth, at home, and a son, Ray, of northwest of Mt. Pleasant and also by five grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Crane Funeral Home with Dr. James Marlin officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery.
