DEATH OF MRS. ANDERSON.
Former Resident Of This City Passes Away At Oskaloosa.

Mrs. John Lauterbach received word today of the death of her mother which occurred this morning at six o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dr. Teter, at Oskaloosa. Mrs. Anderson had been sick since a week ago last Friday having suffered a stroke of apoplexy. The body will be brought here arriving tomorrow afternoon on No. 6 and the funeral will be held from the home of Mrs. Lauterbach Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock.

MRS. MARY CARTER ANDERSON.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Carter Anderson was held yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Lauterbach, on West Washington street, at two o'clock. Members of the Baptist church served as pall bearers and the choir of that church sang. The pastor spoke from Hebrews 11:16. The house was filled with friends and relatives of the deceased, who had been for fifty years a much respected resident of Mount Pleasant. The remains were laid to rest beside those of her husband in Forest Home.
