BRAZILLE--Mr. Robert Brazille [sic:Breazeale], an old resident of Henry county, was buried at Pleasant Hill cemetery, Monday, May 29th, 1893.

Mr. Brazille was born in east Tennessee in 1819, and removed to Missouri in 1842. He remained in Missouri three years, then came to Lee county, Iowa, where he lived five years. He then returned to Missouri in 1849, but preferring Iowa, he once more came to this state in 1854, and remained a resident of Henry county until his death.

In 1841 he was married to Miss Elizabeth Wells, and became the father of ten children, seven of whom still survive.

When he was twenty years old he was converted to Christ, and joined the Missionary Baptist church, but when he settled in Iowa he became a member of the Christian church.

He was a good father, a kind husband, a firm friend, peaceable neighbor, a loyal citizen, a consistent Christian, an honest man, which is the noblest work of God. Rev. Rogers conducted the services in the presence of a large congregation of neighbors, friends and relatives.
