Robert James Hall Passes Away Suddenly at Home
Robert James Hall died at his home in Winfield very suddenly at 11 o'clock Wennesday morning February 18, 1958.
The son of John Ausbury Hall and Emma Jane Brewer, he was born January 15, 1888 at Elm Grove township Louisa County, Iowa.
He was united in marriage to Mable J. Enyart, January 15, 1912, at Geneseo, ILL.
His early life was spent in farming but later entered the carpenter trade in and around Princeton, ILL. up until 1955 when he moved back to Iowa on account of ill health.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Princeton, ILL.
Besides his wife he leaves four brothers and one sister; Jake of Mt. Pleasant, Albert of Winfield, Lou of Winfield and Floyd of Columbus Junction and Muriel, Now Mrs. Henry Ostermeier of Winfield, many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be at Barton McKasson Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Friday. Rev. L.E. Winfrey pastor of the Baptist Church at Mt. Union, in charge. Burial at Columbus City Cemetery.
