O. Eugene Fleenor, 69, of Route 4, West Burlington, died at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1992, at his home.

Born April 3, 1923, at Pleasant Grove, he was the son of C. Buryl and Myrtle Henry Fleenor. He married Kathryn Liechty on Dec. 21, 1948, in Winfield.

He served in the Army Air Corps from 1945 to 1947. He was a retired farmer and a member of Middletown Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Janice Fleenor of Verona, Wis.; two sons, Buryl Fleenor of Marshalltown and Brian Fleenor, at home; a sister, Marlee Watkins of New London; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. Friday, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lunning Chapel.

The funeral for Mr. Fleenor will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Lunning Chapel with the Revs. David Ragula and Robert Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Shinar Cemetery, Pleasant Grove.

A memorial has been established for Middletown Presbyterian Church.
