James Robertson

MT. PLEASANT - James Henry Robertson, 81, who retired fron farming in 1949, died at 4 p.m. Sept. 30, in his home at 806 N. Lincoln street after a lingering illness.

He was born Oct. 7, 1870, in Danville, the son of the late James and Mary Ann Mathews Robertson, and was married Feb. 3, 1904, to the former Laura Brandmeyer who survives. He was a member of Beulah Methodist Church.

Also surviving are 2 sons, Kenneth and Eugene Robertson, both of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Mrs. Clara Hamilton, Mt. Union; and five grandchildren.
One daughter is dead.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Cookes-Lunning home.
