Death of Mrs. Helphrey

It is with deepest regret that we are called upon to annouce the death of Mrs. Arthur Helphrey which occured yesterday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Helphrey in the east part of the city. Mrs. Helphrey had been ill for some time suffering with that dread disease
consumption. She is survived by her husband and one little daughter. The funeral is to be held this afternoon at two o'clock. Friends of the family tender them their sympathy.

My notes: Lucy Margaret Hamilton born 6-30-1874 and died 9-1-1901 of comsumption. Arthur P. was born 9-26-1876 and died 11-7-1937. His parents Daniel H. and Rachel W. Hagenbaugh Helphrey. Lucy's parents: Robert Martin and Marie Elizabeth Whitaker Hamilton. The story is that the Hamilton girls went to work in a home one summer and contracted consumption and they all died.
