ARTHUR P. HELPHREY DIES IN IDAHO
Arthur P. Helphrey of Melba, Idaho, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Nov. 7 at 11 p.m. at his home, following a long illness.
He married Miss Ruth Schooley of West Burlington. His wife survives, a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Speer of Kuna, Idaho and five grandchildren. One brother of Kuna, Idaho, and one sister of Omaha, Nebr. Miss Jessie Helphrey of this city is a cousin.
My notes: First wife was Lucy Hamilton born 6-30-1874 and died 9-1-1901 of comsumption. Arthur P. was born 9-26-1876 and died 11-7-1937. His parents Daniel H. and Rachel W. Hagenbaugh Helphrey. Lucy's parents: Robert Martin and Marie Elizabeth Whitaker Hamilton.
