Mr. F. P. Helphrey received a message yesterday announcing the death of his brother, Daniel Helphrey on August 7th in Boise, Idaho. The deceased lived in Henry county until about fourteen years ago, moving to Boise to benefit his health, but he has been an invalif for the past six years. The interment will be made in Boise, beside his wife who died last December. They are survived by two daughters, two sons and several grandchilden. Mr. Helphrey and his brother were both soldiers in Co. B of First Iowa Col. Cav. August '63 and continued in service until discharged at the close of the war, Jun '65

Children, Annabelle, Harry Thornton, George Victor, Mirtle, Arthur Parrott, Benjamin B., Paul Woodson, Leta Mae, Daniel Jr.
