Winfield - Mrs. Leonard Hamilton, 77, lifetime resident of the Winfield community, died suddenly at her home three miles west of Winfield on No. 78, Friday, January 14. She was the daughter of Theodore and Hannah Russell.

She was born near Winfield in Henry county, June 16, 1880. Her marriage to Leon Hamilton occurred February 15, 1905.

Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Mrs. James Wilson of Crawfordsville, one son, Loren at home, four grandsons and six great grandchildren.

Three sisters, Mrs. Nins Schooley of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Bessie Phillips of Des Moines, Mrs. Harriet Woodward of Marshalltown: and two brothers, Earl Russell of Los Angles and Harry Russell of Arcadia, Calif. and a number of nieces and nephews are left.

Mrs. Hamilton was preceded to death by one son, Everett, a sister, Edna and a brother, Laurence, father of Warner Russell of this city.

She was a member of the Prairie Grove Friends church as long as it existed.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 P.M. at the Barton-McKasson Funeral Home in Winfield with the Rev. Arthur Brehl officiating. Interment will be in the Friends ?
