Christina Overhulser
Christina A. Rogers Overhulser, 14, of Mount Pleasant, died late Wednesday afternoon, March 15, 2000, from injuries in a car-truck accident at W55 and Old Highway 34, west of Mount Pleasant.
Born March 20, 1985, in Fort Madison, she was the daughter of Brenda Lee Black.
Miss Overhulser was a freshman at Mount Pleasant High School.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Brenda and Michael Overhulser of Mount Pleasant; three brothers, Jeff and Levi Rogers and Michael Patrick Overhulser, all of Mount Pleasant; one sister, Nancy Overhulser of Mount Pleasant; and her grandparents, Richard and Barbara Black of Farmington, Richard and Nancy Jones of Bostick, N.C., and Glen Overhulser of Burlington.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Weir Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.
The funeral for Miss Overhulser will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Cottrell Gym in the old high school, with the Rev. Jeffery Crawford and Pastor Guy Sammons officiating.
The family will receive friends after the funeral service in Cottrell Gym.
A private family service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Weir Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeffrey Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
