Mrs. Mary Ann Linch
MT. PLEASANT - Mrs. Jesse C.(Mary Ann) Linch, 74, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, July 10, in Rockford, Ill., where she was being cared for by a daughter.

She was born Oct. 29, 1900, near Drakesville, the daughter of James and Sadie Thorington. Jan. 7, 1920, she married Jesse Clark Linch in Mt. Pleasant.

She was a member of the World War I Veterans auxiliary and the First United Methodist church.

Surviving: the husband; one son, Jesse C., Madras, Ore., three daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Irma)Cooper, New London, Mrs. Richard(Lila) Marsh, Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Lowell(Wilma) Schellhase, Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; three brothers, Jake Thorington, Detroit, Mich., Ray Thorington, Joliet, Ill., Roy Thorington, Oak Harbor, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Richard(Faye) Hartman, Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Donald(Helen)Duncan, Ashland, Ohio.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, Weir - Cookes funeral home, Mt. Pleasant, Dr. Carl Wilson, Forest Home Cemetery.
