Mathew Rites On Saturday

Mt. Pleasant, Ia. - Funeral rites for Mrs. E.J. Mathews, who died Thursday morning in Memorial hospital, will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday in Crane funeral home with burial in Forest Home Cemetery.

Lifelong resident of Henry County, Mrs. Mathews lived many years on a farm in Pleasant Lawn neighborhood. Later the family moved to Mt. Pleasant, residing on Broadway. Her death following a paralytic stroke July 26.

Surviving are three sons, Guy and Milo, Pleasant Lawn community; Major Perry Mathews, Ft. Snelling, Minn. Her husband died several years ago.
