Muriel E. Murphy, 81, 151 Windsor Circle, Burlington, died at 1210 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 1997, at her home.

Born Dec. 7, 1916, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Albert and Grace Blakemore Murphy.

Miss Murphy worked on line control at McKesson-Robbins.

Survivors include her brother-in-law, John Waterhouse of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

There will be no service. The body of Miss Murphy has been cremated.

Burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.

Prugh Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
