Dorothy Wiley
Dorothy Frances Wiley, 75, of 625 N. Garfield Ave., Burlington, died at 420 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 1997, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Sept. 21, 1921, in Yarmouth, she was the daughter of Charley Fred and Mary Frances Kolkman Barkus. On July 4, 1940, she married Alvin Owen Wiley Jr.
Mrs. Wiley worked for Automatic Vending Service, Home Care and ServiceMaster. She was a member of Heritage Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Terry Wiley of West Burlington, Jerry Wiley of Burlington and Dennis James Wiley; one daughter, Dianna E. Rounds of Burlington; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Irene Broeg and Viola Mason, both of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at Hass Funeral Home. There will be no family visitation.
The funeral for Mrs. Wiley will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hass Funeral Home, with the Rev. Byron L. Wixon officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Yarmouth.
A memorial has been established for Heritage Free Methodist Church.
