Raymond Seeger

Raymond Arthur Seeger, 95, of St. Francis Care Center, Burlington, formerly of Boston, Mass., and Atchison, Kan., died at 4:46 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 1998, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born July 20, 1902, in Atchison, he was the son of John L. and Augusta Kloxin Seeger. He married Sara Denberg in 1956 in Atchison. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Seeger was a high school and college graduate. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving in Hawaii.

He loved to garden, was a tree surgeon and was an excellent mechanic.

Survivors include one niece, Mary Christe of New London.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

There will be no visitation.

A graveside service for Mr. Seeger will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Cemetery in Mount Union, with the Rev. Nick Adams officiating.

Elliott Chapel in New London is in charge of arrangements.
