Harry Noel
Harry Calvin Noel, 78, of New London, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, at his home.
Born Jan. 5, 1928, in Burlington, he was the son of Claude B. and Etta Grace Allred Noel.
Mr. Noel worked at the Pentagon, working with security with the Air Force. He retired after 28 years as a master sergeant. He later worked part time for Dickey's Prairie Home in Mount Pleasant. He was a 1947 graduate of New London High School. He was of the Christian faith. He was very active with Midwest Old Threshers and he was a Baltimore Township trustee. He liked to travel, and traveled extensively in Europe.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Lucille Noel of New London, and 13 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Noel's body has been cremated.
Graveside inurnment will be at a later date at Burge Cemetery in New London.
