Charles W. Millspaugh,85,route 3 ,Mt. Pleasant died April 16,1975 at 4:15 a.m. at Henry County Memorial Hospital,Mt.Pleasant,Iowa.
He was born Aug.19,1889 at Rome,Iowa the son of William S. and Mary Rivey Millspaugh.
He was married to Gladys M.Johnson on on Feb.22 1911 at Weaubleau,Mo.
Mr . Millspaugh was a retired farmer. he had lived at Burlington for 30 years, moving back to Rome in 1974.
He was a member of the Lockridge Baptist Church.
He is survied by his widow. Two sons Merrill Millspaugh,,route 3, Mt. Pleasant and Charles Millspaugh,route 3 , Mt. Pleasant.,eight step grandchildren,41 step great grandchildren,,three
step great,great grand children. two brothers , Roy Millspaugh. Mt. Pleasant and P.H. Millspaugh, route 3,Mt. Pleasant. and one sister Mrs . Ethel Schaefer, Lockridge.
His parents,one son, Don Edwin Millspaugh, a brother William and asister Jennie preceed him in death.
Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant,on Friday April 18 at 2.p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Williams ,pastor of the Lockridge Baptist Church and the Rev. Charles Comfort pastor of First Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant,officiating.
Interment will be in the Oakland Mills Cemetery.
Friends may call as they desire at the beatty- Jennings Chapel in Mt.Pleasant after 10.a.m. Thursday, April 17
