Mr. V. Fro. Shelman,71 , route one , Lockridge, died at Henry County Memorial Hospital , Friday , Jan.24 1975 at 12:25 a.m.
He was born in Van Buren County, Nov 14,1903, the son of Jesse and Myrtle Jacobs Shelman.
On April.6,1929 he married Gladys danielson at Monmouth, Ill.
Mr. Shelman was aprominent farmer of the Round Prairie Community. He was amember of the Round Prairie Baptist Church.
He isurvied by his wife Gladys,;one daughter Mrs. WayneL (Loree) King and son -in-law Wayne L. King route 4 , Mt. Pleasant and one grand daughter Leanne King. His parents and infant twin daughter and son preceeded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan 26, at 2:p.m. from the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lenwood Monte pastor of the Lockridge Lutheran Church and the Dr.Carl E.Wilson pastor of the First United methodist church officiating.
Interment will be in the Spencer Cemetery near Stockport.
Family and Friends may call as they desire at the Beatty-Jennings Chapel in Mt. Pleasant.
A memorial fund in memory of Mr. Shelman has been established to the Repiratory Therapy Department of the Henry County Memorial Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. Memorial may be left at the Beatty- Jennings Chapel in Mt. Pleasant.
