Peter H. Milspaugh 84,route3,Mt. Pleasant died
Tuesday ,July 15 at the henry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born at Rome,Iowa Nov 9,1890 the son of William and Mary Rivey Millspaugh.
He was married December 21,1910 to Cassie A. Dawson at Mt. Pleasant. She died Feb.12 1974.
Mr. Millspaugh was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Lockridge Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Ledru Millspaugh,Powell Wyoming;Professor Dick Millspaugh ,route 3 , Mt.Pleasant; two daughters,Mrs. Donald (Clista)McElhinney,Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Bruce(Darla) Murray, Powell ,Wyoming; 11 gbrandchildrenand 16 great-grandchildren;one brother Roy Millspaugh,Mt.Pleasant and a sister Mrs.Ethel Schaefer,Lockridge.
He was preceed in death bytwo brothers ,Charles and Bill,a sister Mrs. Ruth Pauley,infant sister Jennie and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18 at 2p.m. from the Lockridge baptist Church. The Rev. WayneR. williams officiating.Interment will be in the Forest Home Cemetery.
