Lucille Viola Blucher,98, died at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 6,2003 at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
The funeral service will be at 1:30p.m. at Behner Funeral home in Fairfield with the Rev. James Wotherspoon officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Cemetery.Visitation will begin at 10:a.m.on Sunday. March 9 until 7 p.m.at the funeral home.Memorials have been established to Glasgow Cemetery or Jefferson County Hospital Long Term Center.
Mrs. Blucher was born on Sept14,1904, in Lockridge,the daughter of Henry E. and Rosa A. Rivey Danielson. She attended the Lockridge Schools. She married Lloyd P. Blucher on Nov.13,1921, who preceeded her in death on June 28 ,1980. She lived from 1974 TO 1986 in the Seal Beach, Calif Leisure World Community,returning to Fairfield in 1986. A resident of Jefferson County most of her life,
she was a member of the Augustana Lutheran Church in Lockridge. She was homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Survivors include two daughters, Agathand her husband Dale Wehrle of Salem,and Aurelie and her husband Floyd Burns of Fairfield; a son-in-law
Jack WEst of Buena Park, California; a nieceLoree and her husband Wayne King of Mt.Pleasant;Three grandchildren,six great-grandchildren, and three
great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceed in death by her parents; a daughter Ethelda E. West,
a sister,Gladys A. Shelman and a brother Earl.K. Danielson
