Mrs Virginia Freshwater,83 ,Danville died at her home Friday at 9:50 p.m. folowing an extended illness.
The daughter of Mary D.( McCune) and George L. Hale,she was born at Pleasant Grove, March 10, 1876. She was married at Pleasant Grove , Sept 13,1894 to B.E. Snider who preceeded he in death. Later on 04 Apr 1936 she was married to George W. Freshwater who also preceeded her in death on 17 Sep 1947.

Mrs Freshwater had been employed at Fairfield Glove Co for 40 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Christian church and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are one son A. Max Snider, Lincoln,Neb
four grandchildren,seven great-grandchildren, three sisters Miss Effie B. Hale, Mrs. Mary A. Drinksall and Mrs. Flossie Cresap, Danville and one brother Manford P. Hale of New London.
One son Walter Snider died in January of 1957.

Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Elliott Chapel with Dr.Will J. Wright officiating.Interment will be in Burge Cemetery, Friends may call at the Elliott chapel Sunday afternoon or evening.
