FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. F. A. MORGAN

The Crane Funeral Home was filled Sunday afternoon at 2:30 for the memorial service of Mrs. F. A. Morgan. The pastor of her church, Dr. George G. Hunt, was the officiating minister. Mrs. Dan Winter played quiet organ music. Pallbearers were nephews: Don Miller, Jack Huston, Donald Huston, Basil Huston, Jr., John M. Huston, and Gayle Huston. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery where J. Earl Vandagriff was in charge of the graveside service.

Ruby Margreta Morgan was born at Crawfordsville, Iowa, July 25, 1889 and passed away on December 31, 1948 at the Memorial Hospital, at the age of 59 years, 5 months, and 6 days. One of the five children of John A. and Nettie Fishburn Huston, she grew to womanhood in the Olds community. On November 28, 1918, she was united in marriage with F. Alford Morgan of Olds. To this union were born two daughters and a son.

Ten years ago she moved with her family to Mt. Pleasant where she transferred her membership to the First Methodist Church. She also was active in the Olds unit of the American Legion Auxiliary and other social and religious organizations. In whatever community she lived, she gave of her time and talents to many worthwhile activities.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Louise Vandagraff of Burlington and Marguerite Vandagraff of Ames, and a son, Joe, at home, her aged father, a sister Mrs. Nellie Miller, three brothers, Basil, Arch, and John Jr., all of Olds, and two grandsons, Carl and David Vandergraff. Her mother preceded her in death.

Besides the immediate family, the nieces and nephews, she is mourned by a wide circle of acquaintances made during her many years of activity in the business world.
