Irwin M. Mohr, 92, of Swedesburg, died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at Parkview Home in Wayland.

Born March 19, 1910, in Danville, he was the son of William and Mary Weichman Mohr. On Feb. 28, 1940, he married Laura Moody at Davenport. She died April 14, 1998.

Mr. Mohr was a lifetime farmer.

He served as a Boy Scout leader.

Survivors include one daughter, Lauretta Carriker of Bloomington, Calif.; two sons, Julius Mohr of Davenport and Michael Mohr of rural Mount Pleasant; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. There will be no family visitation.

The funeral for Mr. Mohr will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Honts Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Crossroads Hospice.
