Frances W. Wolfe, 85, of Des Moines, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Mrs. Wolfe was born in Wayland. She married Atlee Wolfe. He preceded her in death.

She worked as vice president for State Federal Savings and Loan. She lived in the Des Moines area for most of her adult life.

She was a member of United Church of Des Moines, PEO Chapter HE, Des Moines Women's Club, Does Drove No. 25 and Women's Chamber Alliance.

She is survived by two nephews, Rex and Robert Widmer, both of Montezuma.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines, with the family present during that time.

The funeral for Mrs. Wolfe will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Eicher Cemetery in Wayland.
