Irene Brenneman, 90, formerly of Wayland, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at West Hill Medical Center in West Hill, Calif.

Born July 1, 1910, in Ainsworth, she was the daughter of Mathew and Bertha Brown McGraw. She married Elmus Brenneman Nov. 24, 1927, in Wellman. He preceded her in death.

She assisted her husband in farming in Wellman, Winfield, Mount Union and the Wayland area. In 1990, she moved to California to be with her family.

Survivors include two sons, Richard of Simi Valley, Calif., and David of Redding, Calif.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one daughter, one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington.

The graveside committal service for Mrs. Brenneman will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington with the Rev. Greg Carr officiating.

A memorial has been established.
