MRS. PENN SMITH TAKEN BY DEATH

Survived By Husband and Three Children

Salem--Mrs. Ella Smith, age 80 years, passed away this morning at her home northwest of Salem.

Surviving are her husband, Penn Smith, one son, Sidney, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Ruggles of Natonia, Kansas, and Mrs. Chas. Brown of Mt. Pleasant, one sister, Mrs. Rebecca White, of Salem, and two brothers, Ed Frazer of Mt. Pleasant and Alson G. Frazer of Crookston, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at Cedar Friends church.

The Smith's were pioneer residents of Henry county.
