Frances Elizabeth Bain, 83, of Wayland, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at her home near Wayland.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Herb Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Wayland Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon, Friday at the funeral home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established for Wayland Cemetery.

Mrs. Bain was born July 29, 1922, to Fred and Emma (Kaufman) Stalder near Wayland. She married Ralph G. Bain on Nov. 1, 1941, in Washington. He preceded her in death in 1993.
