Lynn C. Maguire, 77, died Jan. 19

Lynn C. Maguire, 77, a resident of Longview Home at Missouri Valley, passed away Jan. 19. He was a retired motel operator in Missouri Valley.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Maguire, he was born Jan. 10, 1903, at Logan. He moved to Missouri Valley in 1937. He and his wife celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary Jan.11th .

Survivors include his wife, Elsie, Missouri Valley; two daughters, Bonnie Larson of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Patricia Mumma of Castro Valley, Calif.; one brother, William Maguire of Logan; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the United Methodist church in Missouri Valley Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Melvin Rath the clergyman. Organist was Mrs. Henry Gravert. Bearers were Winston Rashleigh, Sherman Struble, Howard Kelly, John Jensen, Don Shinner and Franklin Peterson. Interment was in Bethel cemetery near Logan. Hennessey-Van Cleave – Hurley funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
