Michele; I saw your query last night and was going to the courthouses in Hardin and Grundy Counties today anyway so I would check on your search. There was absolutely nothing on Winfield or Bertha in the available records. They probably died in the time that all of the records are kept in Des Moines. 1921-1945. I did check the Census Records and they were here in 1930, but I could find nothing further. Good Luck on your quest. Rick
