Winfield & Bertha BROTHERTON

Is there anyone who might be able to help me locate a death record or some information on a Winfield BROTHERTON and his second wife, Bertha? Winfield was born in 1861 in Pittsford, Franklin Co., IA and lived most of his life in Franklin and Butler counties. In 1892 his first wife, Mary L. HOVEY, died giving birth to twins and is buried in the Harlan Cemetery in Butler Co. In the 1900 census for Pittsford, Butler, IA, he is listed as a widower, no children. In the 1910 and 1920 census for Ingham, Franklin Co., IA, he is listed with a Bertha H. as his wife. In 1930 he is living in Eldora, Hardin Co. with Bertha. A search of Butler and Franklin counties yielded no death or marriage records. Any clues would be appreciated!
