HAMPTON - Rosemary Snider, 72, of Hampton died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 18, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton with Pastor David Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec. 17, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rosemary was born on May 15, 1931, in Hampton to Randolph and Maude (Lumley) Zeiger. She was educated in the Swaledale School System in Swaledale. Rosemary was united in marriage to Ivol Snider, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Methodist church. Rosemary enjoyed taking nature walks, playing cards, dancing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include one son, Kirk Mathews and wife Liz of Hampton; two daughters, Karmen Mc Pherren of Clear Lake and Jolene Huinker and husband Larry of West Union; her special friend, Joe Boelkes of Hampton; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivol; and one brother, Doug.ŠIowa Falls Times-Citizen 2005
