OMAHA, Neb. - Beatrice "Bea" Carol Kramer, 80, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Hampton, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at her home. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 15, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton with Rev. Karl Bollhagen officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, Dec. 14, from 1-3 p.m. at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Memorials may be made to either Trinity Lutheran Church, Hampton, or the local Alzheimer's Association.
Bea was born July 7, 1923, at Thornton to Marius and Carrie Christensen. She grew up in the Thornton area. On Jan. 6, 1939, she was united in marriage to Pete Kramer. The couple farmed in the Thornton/Sheffield area in the early years of their marriage, until moving to Hampton in 1955. Bea was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She moved to Parsons House in Omaha in 2001, and resided there until her death.
Survivors include three sons, Delbert Kramer of Des Moines, Larry Kramer and wife Janet of Omaha, and Rick Kramer of Denver, Colo.; six grandchildren; one brother, Dick Christensen of Rockwell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete; her parents; and two brothers, Marvin Christensen and Buford Christensen.
