HANSELL - Marty Dale Burroughs, 49, of Hansell died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at his home. Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 7, at the Hansell United Methodist Church in Hansell with Rev. Julie Poore-Christensen officiating. Inurnment will be in the Hampton Cemetery at a later date.
Marty was born July 25, 1954, in Hampton to Maynard and Dorothy (Becker) Burroughs. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence, Mo. Marty served with the U.S. Marines. He was employed by Dumont Auto Parts for 14 years. Marty was a member of the Hansell United Methodist Church. Mechanic work and reading were among his favorites.
Survivors include his brother, Monty Burroughs of Hansell, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
