IOWA FALLS - Kenneth E. Picht, 94, of Iowa Falls died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 31, at First Christian Church in Iowa Falls with burial at Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls.

Kenneth was born Feb. 24, 1914, in Story County to Anthony and Mary (Mackey) Picht. He attended the Beaver Valley County School in Franklin County. On Sept. 24, 1930, he was united in marriage to Nina Meyer at her parents' home in Franklin County. The couple farmed in Franklin County, retiring in 1964. He was united in marriage to Wilma Nyce on Dec. 26, 1987. Kenneth was a member of the First Christian Church in Iowa Falls and the Iowa Falls Senior Citizens Center. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening and especially his family.

Survivors include his companion, Avon Price, of Iowa Falls; three daughters, Shirley Johnson and fiancŽ Alan Shucard of Greenfield, Wis., Marilyn Poulson and husband Don of Des Moines, Carol Morgan and husband Ken of Normal, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two wives, Nina and Wilma; his parents; one grandchild, Brian Anthony Picht; one sister, Lucille England; and two brothers, Russell and Clyde.

Linn's Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
