IOWA FALLS - Edna E. Walters, 87, of Iowa Falls died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, at her home in Iowa Falls. Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 13, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls with Rev. Kenneth Krueger officiating. Burial was in the Hubbard Cemetery in Hubbard.
Edna was born, Jan. 19, 1916, to John and Martha (Puttkamer) Brandt at Hubbard. She attended rural school near Alden and graduated from Hubbard High School. On Feb. 19, 1936, Edna was united in marriage to William Zoske. The couple later divorced. On March 10, 1956, she was married to David Walters at Austin, Minn. Edna was a homemaker. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Rebekah Circle.
Survivors include her husband, David; one daughter, Karen Touch and husband Bob of Ankeny; one son, Dennis Walters and wife Dixie of Conrad; two grandchildren, Konni VanLangen and husband Doug of Ellsworth and Kirk Haugland and wife Rachel of Randall; and five great-grandchildren, Andrew Haugland, Kristina Haugland, Ceara VanLangen, Jacob Haugland and Shea VanLangen. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson, Tjay VanLangen.
Surls Funeral Home of Iowa Falls was in charge of arrangements.
