Clarence Macnab, 94, of Iowa Falls, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2003, at the Hubbard Care Center, Hubbard, Iowa. Funeral services for Clarence Macnab will be 10:30 Saturday, September 20, 2003, at the Linn's Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 pm Firday at the Linn's Funeral Home 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa, with the family receiving friends between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 pm. Memorials may be directed The Ellsworth Municipal Hospital Foundation, 110 Rocksylvania Avenue, Iowa 50126. The Linn's Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Clarence Edward Macnab was born November 24, 1908, at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Frank R. and Annie [Palmer} Macnab. He graduated the Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania High School with the class of 1926. He then attended business school receiving his accounting certificate. He was employed as a tax accountant with Westinghouse Electric, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, retiring in 1968. He and his wife moved to Iowa Falls, Iowa in 1986.

On June 6, 1934, he was united in marriage to Blanche H. Hunter at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. To this union two children were born: Ruth and David.

Clarence Macnab is survived by his daughter: Ruth M. Campbell and husband John of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his son: David C. Macnab and wife Elaine of Salida, Colorado; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Annie Macnab; his wife: Blanche Macnab; his twin brother: Howard Macnab; and three sisters: Mabel Booth, Ruth Carmell, and Ada Brown.
