BLAIRSBURG - Buenetta M. Schroder, 89, of Blairsburg died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, at the Hamilton County Hospital. Services will be Monday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Williams with Rev. Rick Layman officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to service time at the church one hour prior to services.

Buenetta was born Aug. 19, 1914, at Williams to Lee and Anna (Lister) Millsap. She graduated from Williams High School in 1932. On Nov. 24, 1934, she was married to Leo Schroder at Webster City. Buenetta was a homemaker, member of the United Methodist Church, card clubs, church circles and Hamilton County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include her three sons, Bob and wife Mary of Ankeny, Sherman and wife Sally of Cedar Rapids and Alan L. of Blairsburg; a daughter, Janis Mae Hicks and husband Thomas of Hampton; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Graves, of Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; infant daughter, Lois; a brother, David; and a sister, Dolores.

Surls Funeral Chapel of Williams is in charge of arrangements.
