IOWA FALLS-Clara Fraser, 94, of Iowa Falls died Friday March 14, 2003, at Scenic Manor Nursing Home. Services were held Tuesday, March 18, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls with burial in Northlawn Memory Gardens, Iowa Falls. Rev. Ken Krueger officiated.

Clara was born July 1, 1908, in Dekalb, Ill., to Paul and Hanna Neubauer. She attended school in Hubbard and married Ronald Fraser in Bradford July 4, 1928. They owned and operated Fraser's Inn in Alden for many years. They moved to Waterloo in 1941 where Clara worked at Allen Memorial Hospital until she retired in 1976. She moved into Scenic Manor in September 2001.

She is survived by two sons, Don and wife Jill of Buckeye and Darrell and wife Doris of Imboden, Ark.; four sisters, Elnora Paul of Swea City, Louise Heller, Thelma Andersen and Ruth Pekarek and husband Bob all of Iowa Falls; two brothers, Leo Neubauer and wife Helen of Iowa Falls and Paul Neubauer and wife Fern of Kearney, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald; two sons, Duane and Lyle; and a daughter-in-law, Judy Fraser.

Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls was in charge of arrangements.
