Halleck Williams Passes Away At Home Sunday

Halleck Williams passed away late Sunday afternoon at his home on 12th Avenue. He was born July 23, 1869, at Newcastle, Ind. Mrs. Williams preceded her husband in death four years ago. Funeral services will be held at the Longenecker funeral home at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Ralph Imes officiating, with burial in the Eldora Cemetery. Nine children survive, Mrs. Audrie Stull, Union; Mrs. John White, Albion; Eugene, Union; Ralph, Albion; Chelsea, Hawarden; Otis, New Providence; Harl, Floyd and Miss Jeanette Williams, who had kept house for her parents, and two brothers. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
